Public health in Barrio Logan is a multifaceted topic from the external to the internal. The external built environment and mixed-use urban zoning of the neighborhood directly impacts the internal biological systems of the body, while seemingly internal cultural and socioeconomic factors have external manifestations on accessibility of health care and health education. Our team has investigated some of theses issues and the community experiences surrounding them below.
